Expired Milk.

If I were milk. I would have been thrown out 3 days ago.
Donny and I are starting to believe that there is no baby in there...

They wont consider inducing me until I am atleast 3cm. And I am currently at 1cm and holding.
So I have an apt on Monday and I better be more dilated then...The Dr's have become my least favorite people.

They did an U/S and the lady asked me if I was a diabetic? I guess because Landon is so HUGE.
I had to do a NST. And Landon wasnt as active as they would have liked. So they made me drink Mt. Dew. Didnt work. So we had to go out to eat and come back. WELL we get back and they were closed for lunch. I felt bad because Donny was missing work and he borrowed someones car. Well everything looked fine after the second one.

I made dinner (Steak with mushroom sauce, mashed potato's and gravy and corn.) Then Donny and I tried walking the baby out. Went to the movie store (500 days of summer, 17 again, and some guy movie for Donny) Ever since i've gotten back from the dr. I've noticed some bleeding...not alot of cramps though, so nothing to get to excited over.

Today's Donny's 21st birthday. I feel bad because he cant go out and enjoy it. But he said something that made me cry..."Hun, I'm more concerned with someone elses birthday right now." Thats why I love him. I think I am going to bake him some brownies and hopefully we can go see Iron Man 2.

No Landon Lou...YET

Still no landon.

Things to never say to a pregnant lady.

1)"You should have the baby on (specific date) because so-and-so was born on that day."
    Really?!?! We don't care.
2)"Don't have the baby tonight/tomorrow because I have (specific activity) and don't want to miss it."

No problem, don't let our state of unbearable discomfort inconvenience you.

3)"You're only how far along? You're huge! " or "You're how far along? Wow, you're not very big."

We'll thank you to keep your comments about our size to yourself. If we wanted your opinion, we'd ask.
4)"When are you due? When are you due? When are you due?"

This may seem harmless but we've actually already told about 50 other people before you, and yes, all before 10am this morning. We were only barely talked out of getting a Sharpie and writing the date across our foreheads and our belly. If we look like we're about to pop, we probably are, so just assume the answer is: any day now.
5)"You're how many days overdue? Aren't you ready to have that baby yet?"

No. Didn't you know we enjoy being tortured?!

6)"When I was pregnant with my (first, fifth, twentieth), this is what happened…"

This might be fine. Sometimes moms-to-be are hungry for baby talk and eat it up. But it sort of depends on the point of the story, the person talking, the pregnant lady listening, and whether the info was solicited or not. A high-strung prego who's confiding in you about how scared she is of labor does NOT need to hear your horror story about how you, or such-and-such, had a 36-hour labor, needed 27 stitches and 5 epidurals, and couldn't see the baby for 2 weeks after it was born. Please, please use common sense! (If you don't have any, err on the side of mostly listening and not talking.) If you have to tell stories, encouraging stories are the only really safe kind.

7)"You really shouldn't hope for (an early baby, a fast delivery, anything positive, really) because (fill in statistics and/or whatever reason) …I'm just trying to keep you from being disappointed."

Repeat after me: DO NOT DISCOURAGE A PREGNANT LADY. We are vulnerable creatures, literally at the mercy of the slightest shift in our already-messed-up hormones. We are living day by day, sometimes hour by hour. If we want to hope for a purple baby with pink hair who comes out singing Italian arias, just smile and tell us how lovely that sounds. It's a leap for us to even talk to you about it, in some cases. So lie to us. Thanks.

The Bottom Line

Seriously...the bottom line is, while most of the time we are friendly people who are really excited about the new life being created inside us and are happy to talk about it, you have to understand how many times we've heard at least a few of the above mentioned questions or statements throughout the last nine months. When nearing the end of a pregnancy, it can become difficult to keep repeating the answers to the same questions over and over and over every single day, every time we see someone, and it can also get tiring to pretend we're interested in and excited to hear someone's opinion when we've already heard at least 20 others that day, and possibly 10 or more were the exact same thing. So please just take that into consideration. If you don't know what to say, a simple, "How are you doing?" is always appreciated. :)

April showers bring May babies??

So I know I still have some hours left in the day, but I think my chances of having an April baby are slim.
Couldnt get to sleep until 12 last night so I didnt wake up with donny this morning...(booo)
Slept in until 8. Wooo!
Payback. Because he smoked in the house...and now I have a stuffy nose and my eyes are buring and I had to sleep with a box of tissues next to me.

Nothing else new. The house needs cleaned. But I dont feel like it. : P

So.

I made the best thing ever today.
Grilled chicken wrap. (I grilled some bonless chicken and seasoned it with seasoning salt, soft taco shell, mayo, tomato and lettuce.) YUMO.
Donny came home and we decided to try to walk landon out. (didnt work)
Donny got his haircut, we took movies back and got new ones (bad lieutenant and true blood)
And went to get a mt. dew because I was craving one bad.
Checked the mail. (Got my ID from home.)
Came home and finished the curious case of benjiman button. And had dinner. Chicken alfredo.

Also got a call from the FRO...which really wasnt productive at all.
Still pregnant. :((

Tomorrow.

So I am officialy 39 weeks and 1 day.
I told Donny I will cry if I make it to my dr's apt on tuesday.
Krystal tells me babies are often born on days with full moons and today is one! Not like I am getting my hopes up.
sighs.
And
All those things they claim induce labor...havent worked...naturally.

Off to watch 19 kids and counting...(that women is NUTS.)

No news.

That saying "No news is good news" is so false.
Went to the dr...nothing unusual with my tests or u/s. Not dilated at all. Closed up tighter then a lid on a pickle jar in fact. The dr (whom I got a gay vibe from...(not being offense I am being honest) mentioned "So we have a big baby eh?" (grr) and He said big babies run in families (Jimmy and I were 9 pounds and Jim was 10. FML) He also went on to mention that a dr that was pregnant just went 2 weeks over due and had a 9 pound baby.

UGH.

So I am happier with donny today. Yesterday was just a bad day (coughs rima) I was going to make meatloaf today but the USMC succcccccccks and Donny came home around 8 so I just made one of those frozen bag dinners. It was tasty but naturally didnt fill up donny (piggy).

Well off to watch a movie.
