Expired Milk.

If I were milk. I would have been thrown out 3 days ago.
Donny and I are starting to believe that there is no baby in there...

They wont consider inducing me until I am atleast 3cm. And I am currently at 1cm and holding.
So I have an apt on Monday and I better be more dilated then...The Dr's have become my least favorite people.

They did an U/S and the lady asked me if I was a diabetic? I guess because Landon is so HUGE.
I had to do a NST. And Landon wasnt as active as they would have liked. So they made me drink Mt. Dew. Didnt work. So we had to go out to eat and come back. WELL we get back and they were closed for lunch. I felt bad because Donny was missing work and he borrowed someones car. Well everything looked fine after the second one.

I made dinner (Steak with mushroom sauce, mashed potato's and gravy and corn.) Then Donny and I tried walking the baby out. Went to the movie store (500 days of summer, 17 again, and some guy movie for Donny) Ever since i've gotten back from the dr. I've noticed some bleeding...not alot of cramps though, so nothing to get to excited over.

Today's Donny's 21st birthday. I feel bad because he cant go out and enjoy it. But he said something that made me cry..."Hun, I'm more concerned with someone elses birthday right now." Thats why I love him. I think I am going to bake him some brownies and hopefully we can go see Iron Man 2.

No Landon Lou...YET

Still no landon.

Things to never say to a pregnant lady.

1)"You should have the baby on (specific date) because so-and-so was born on that day."
    Really?!?! We don't care.
2)"Don't have the baby tonight/tomorrow because I have (specific activity) and don't want to miss it."

No problem, don't let our state of unbearable discomfort inconvenience you.

3)"You're only how far along? You're huge! " or "You're how far along? Wow, you're not very big."

We'll thank you to keep your comments about our size to yourself. If we wanted your opinion, we'd ask.
4)"When are you due? When are you due? When are you due?"

This may seem harmless but we've actually already told about 50 other people before you, and yes, all before 10am this morning. We were only barely talked out of getting a Sharpie and writing the date across our foreheads and our belly. If we look like we're about to pop, we probably are, so just assume the answer is: any day now.
5)"You're how many days overdue? Aren't you ready to have that baby yet?"

No. Didn't you know we enjoy being tortured?!

6)"When I was pregnant with my (first, fifth, twentieth), this is what happened…"

This might be fine. Sometimes moms-to-be are hungry for baby talk and eat it up. But it sort of depends on the point of the story, the person talking, the pregnant lady listening, and whether the info was solicited or not. A high-strung prego who's confiding in you about how scared she is of labor does NOT need to hear your horror story about how you, or such-and-such, had a 36-hour labor, needed 27 stitches and 5 epidurals, and couldn't see the baby for 2 weeks after it was born. Please, please use common sense! (If you don't have any, err on the side of mostly listening and not talking.) If you have to tell stories, encouraging stories are the only really safe kind.

7)"You really shouldn't hope for (an early baby, a fast delivery, anything positive, really) because (fill in statistics and/or whatever reason) …I'm just trying to keep you from being disappointed."

Repeat after me: DO NOT DISCOURAGE A PREGNANT LADY. We are vulnerable creatures, literally at the mercy of the slightest shift in our already-messed-up hormones. We are living day by day, sometimes hour by hour. If we want to hope for a purple baby with pink hair who comes out singing Italian arias, just smile and tell us how lovely that sounds. It's a leap for us to even talk to you about it, in some cases. So lie to us. Thanks.

The Bottom Line

Seriously...the bottom line is, while most of the time we are friendly people who are really excited about the new life being created inside us and are happy to talk about it, you have to understand how many times we've heard at least a few of the above mentioned questions or statements throughout the last nine months. When nearing the end of a pregnancy, it can become difficult to keep repeating the answers to the same questions over and over and over every single day, every time we see someone, and it can also get tiring to pretend we're interested in and excited to hear someone's opinion when we've already heard at least 20 others that day, and possibly 10 or more were the exact same thing. So please just take that into consideration. If you don't know what to say, a simple, "How are you doing?" is always appreciated. :)

April showers bring May babies??

So I know I still have some hours left in the day, but I think my chances of having an April baby are slim.
Couldnt get to sleep until 12 last night so I didnt wake up with donny this morning...(booo)
Slept in until 8. Wooo!
Payback. Because he smoked in the house...and now I have a stuffy nose and my eyes are buring and I had to sleep with a box of tissues next to me.

Nothing else new. The house needs cleaned. But I dont feel like it. : P

So.

I made the best thing ever today.
Grilled chicken wrap. (I grilled some bonless chicken and seasoned it with seasoning salt, soft taco shell, mayo, tomato and lettuce.) YUMO.
Donny came home and we decided to try to walk landon out. (didnt work)
Donny got his haircut, we took movies back and got new ones (bad lieutenant and true blood)
And went to get a mt. dew because I was craving one bad.
Checked the mail. (Got my ID from home.)
Came home and finished the curious case of benjiman button. And had dinner. Chicken alfredo.

Also got a call from the FRO...which really wasnt productive at all.
Still pregnant. :((

Tomorrow.

So I am officialy 39 weeks and 1 day.
I told Donny I will cry if I make it to my dr's apt on tuesday.
Krystal tells me babies are often born on days with full moons and today is one! Not like I am getting my hopes up.
sighs.
And
All those things they claim induce labor...havent worked...naturally.

Off to watch 19 kids and counting...(that women is NUTS.)

Heres are life.

Donny comes home from work.
Donny-Hey honey. Any pains?
Me-*sighs* No.
Donny-Damnit.

SO sad that we want me to be in pain....haha

No news.

That saying "No news is good news" is so false.
Went to the dr...nothing unusual with my tests or u/s. Not dilated at all. Closed up tighter then a lid on a pickle jar in fact. The dr (whom I got a gay vibe from...(not being offense I am being honest) mentioned "So we have a big baby eh?" (grr) and He said big babies run in families (Jimmy and I were 9 pounds and Jim was 10. FML) He also went on to mention that a dr that was pregnant just went 2 weeks over due and had a 9 pound baby.

UGH.

So I am happier with donny today. Yesterday was just a bad day (coughs rima) I was going to make meatloaf today but the USMC succcccccccks and Donny came home around 8 so I just made one of those frozen bag dinners. It was tasty but naturally didnt fill up donny (piggy).

Well off to watch a movie.

Nothing. Nadda.

Still no Landon. UGH.
Doc said Landon is perfect. But everyone kept mentioning how large he was. (8 pounds.) The ultrasound lady is convinced I will need a c section...ugh. I also had my first experince with a midwife...and I DID not dig that at all. Heck no. I perfer a dr.
After the apt we went to Jesse's my newest craving. I got the same thing as always. Chicken strips, Fries and Rootbeer...and cheese sticks. Yumo.

I got really sick the other day and I couldnt make dinner so Donny did. (I felt bad but he made a tasty dinner) And gave me tons of kisses on the forehead : ) Which made it tons better.

No contractions or any signs that a Landon is near. So I've been cleaning all day trying to clean him out ha.

Short post because a BLT is calling me.

....Braxton Hicks....ick

So saturday I thought for SURE Landon was coming.
I was having BAD cramps, potty problems *winks* and I was sicker then all heck.
But Donny and I walked ALOT (there was DQ involved so score!) and eventually got better.

Landon's room is complete! I go in there just to stare at it...I LOVE it. (He does need a curtain but its not that important...its just to cover the blinds) I would sleep happly in there.
We also had to buy a new computer because the laptop crapped out...its a desktop so I like it better, although theres no place for my camera card to go...so we have to figure that out...I cant not take pictures!

We went grocery shopping ANDDDDDD I found rice crispy treat cereal...which they stopped selling back home...made me VERY happy this morning! Donny made dinner last night and shockingly...it was good. I think he felt bad because I've been on his butt for not helping me clean (I.E spilling kool aid and not cleaning it up...grr)

Dr's apt tomorrow, hopefully they will give me good news. Last night I was postive it wouldnt be long till Landon came...just a feeling...that sadly went away when I woke up...I seem to be more ambitious at night...delusional maybe?

Does anyone read this anyway?? Hmmm. Oh well...its a time killer.

Off to hunt down some lunch.

Dr's Apt

So I had a dr's apt at 10.

They were concerned because I told them that Landon hadnt been kicking as much...so I had to do a stress test (they hooked me up to monitors and I had to push a button every time he kicked (grand total of two times) Well they didnt like the results of it so they told me to go and eat and come back and do another one.

Before that I had an ultrasound.

They said he's measuring at 7 pounds! The nurse said from the looks of the ultrasound he could be born on April 19th. His head is also WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY down. I am also a half cenimeter dialted.

They said however they are going to go by my first due date (may 4th) because they go by how far along in growth he was at my first ultrasound. So its anyones guess...19th, 24th or the 4th?

So Donny and I went to jesse's and had lunch (chicken strips, fries and cheesecake yumo)
Went back and did another stress test and they said it looked fine (they check if his heart rate goes up every time he kicks) So I have to go back in on Monday.

Fun, Fun, Fun.

OH and I also got more ultrasound pictures...I got a picture of his little pee-pee (Titusville wouldnt give me one) and Donny stole them to take them to work to show them off. He was sooo cute during it, he made the cutest faces!

Well off to lay down REALLY tired.

Cable, Internet, Phone and Bed.

Today was SUCH an exciting day!

Naturally I woke up at 5 with Donny...and went back to sleep until 8.

I cleaned before the cable guy came (He was a trip)(He informed me that Landon needs to first names, apparently its a southern thing...Landon Bob Bruce? haha) So once we go and get a phone I can call people!!! Most exciting is I can watch dancing with the stars again!! Woooooo!

I slacked off and made a " bake" for dinner (dinner in a box) which apparently wasnt enough for either of us because donny had 3 sandwhiches and I had grapes and fries...(lesson learned)

Donny went to sleep early (PT boo) and Now I am watching the E! truehollywood story (kendra)....

Nothing new with Landon, I have a dr.'s apt tomorrow at 10.

Patiently Waiting. (not)

So I am currently waiting for the cable guy to come...(I wish he'd hurry)

I managed to sleep in until 8 wooooooah...people think I am crazy because I consider that sleeping in...but being as pregnant as I am, sleeping doesnt come easy.

I've watched all about steve 3 times now because I am to lazy to put something else in, so the cable man needs to come NOW!

BIL (brother in law) is delayed on coming home, I feel really bad, he wants to see chase so bad...poor guy.

Mailman

A man took his pregnant wife to the hospital to give birth. The doctor told them that they'd developed a new machine and asked if the couple would like to try it out. The machine could take some of the pain of childbirth from the mother and give it to the father to ease the mother's burden.

Well, they thought that was a good idea, and decided to give it a try. The doctor initially set the machine on 10 percent, telling the man that even 10 percent was probably more pain than he'd ever experienced. But the husband was surprised at how little pain he was feeling, and asked the doctor to raise the level.

The doctor increased it to 20 percent, and when the man still felt fine, he raised it to 50 and finally 100 percent.

After it was all over, the man stood up, and stretched a little. Both he and his wife felt fine, and they shortly left the hospital to take the baby home.

It was then that they found the mailman dead on their doorstep.

Today.

Woke up at 5 and watched a movie until 6, slept in until 8 (woooah)

Then I decided to play my video game (g-force ha its a kids game sooo what)

I made shake n bake chicken, noodles, mashed potatoes and corn for dinner which was darn tasty if I may add.

Went over to wash Donnys cammies and rented two more movies (fantastic mr fox and all about steve) and came home and cleaned the bedroom (because tomorrow we are getting a bedroom set!)

Also Donny heard me fart today bahaha I told him it comes along with being pregnant, he tells me girls dont fart, but apppppparently they do.

Nothing new on the landon front, he's been way active...and Donny swears my stomach has gotten bigger in the past week (Tember says it looks like I am smuggling a watermellon, she of all people should be more senstive having been pregnant once herself...lol)

Tuesday

So I woke up at 5 with Donny. I played a video game until 11 (Donny's rubbing off on me) and had a tasty BLT for lunch (my newest craving is bacon, last week it was rootbeer) and around noon 4 little baptist girls knocked on my door and tried to get me to go to their church (I am sure they would have pooped their pants had they known I was mormon) I watched The invention of lying while I "prepared"/"cleaned Landon's room and I found more stuff I thought I forgot at home.

Donny came home and we ate dinner (Sausage, Mac and Cheese and tator tots (its what he wanted) Then Tember took us to go check out beds, we ended up getting a bedroom set (haha funny story about that) The guy was like "Let me get your total here..." and I said "First born?" and he said "I'm not waiting that long missy." har har Then we went over to the dollar tree (can I just say that store is amazing) and got tons of things we've been lacking! Oh and thee nephew just gets cuter and cuter, he's a wild man.

We came home and found our first roach...lol it sounds gross but I guess they are common down here (but donny FLIPPED, I deal with bugs much better then he does...which I take great pride in)

Nothing really noteable on the Landon front, he has the hicups which are slightly annoying but adorable all in one... I have a feeling he's going to be late to his own show...

Thursday we get phone/cable/internet and a bed!!! Such an exciting day

Uh?

I read in the paper they seriously...no lies have a breast milk bank....people seriously donate their breast milk for other mothers to use...uhhhhh eww.

__
A woman goes to her doctor who verifies that she is pregnant. This is her first pregnancy. The doctor asks her if she has any questions. She replies, "Well, I'm a little worried about the pain. How much will childbirth hurt?"

The doctor answered, "Well, that varies from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy and besides, it's difficult to describe pain."

"I know, but can't you give me some idea?" she asks.

"Grab your upper lip and pull it out a little..."

"Like this?"

"A little more..."

"Like this?"

"No. A little more..."

"Like this?"

"Yes. Does that hurt?"

"A little bit."

"Now stretch it over your head!"

(Oh JOY!)

Monday.

So since no one uses myspace anymore and most of anyone I care about is on facebook, I figured this would be a good way to keep everyone updated on my life. (You know you Northerners)

So all is well on the Landon front, his kicks arent as notice able all the time but he sure makes up for it! I have a dr's apt on friday which well be Donnys first one, so I am excited about that. We also were given more clothes for him...we've been so blessed, I am so glad I havent had to stress out about anything in that area!

Yesterday was Easter and we went over to the Garrison's house for a BBQ, there was also another couple there (Cant remember their name....) We played Wii monopoly (I hate that game, I think it has alot to do with my ADD) and later decided to go see a movie (Clash of the titans) I got really mad at Donny and I feel bad for it now but I wont admit that to him. I wanted chocolate and he got the wrong kind....I cried the whole entire time...gotta love em hormones.

I managed to sleep past 5 am today (6:30!! wooo) Which is big for me. Donny and I made brownies and decided to return some movies (and get new ones, lack of cable sucks)(we get cable/internet and phone thursday) We got there and found out they didnt open until 11 (who does that) so we walked around until I convinced Donny to go to Mocka Joe's and we got strawberry smoothies (I have a strong feeling its going to be a new pregnancy craving) We got movies (The invention of lying, Final Destination(I wonder how many final destinations you can have before its the final one...humm) and Alvin and the chipmunks(the newer one) I ended up getting a little sick and passed out for half an hour...

I also had another "Hormone Moment" today....Donny was wrapped up in a blanket and said "wow this smells like your house, we dont have to wash it, if you like it..." I cried and told him that was the sweetest thing I heard in a long time...lol

We got home and lasted until 4 and decided to make dinner (BLT'S and fries) Now I am waiting for my dear husband to get his butt in gear so we can do some laundry!
